So you can't exploit new players anymore? My, what a shame...

Hold on, the fact that ppl are shouting prices doesnt mean they'll sell those mods for the stated price.

I just chuckle when I see someone shouting 100K+ecto for an upgrade

An asking price should never be what you actually want for the item, the asking price should always be higher to compensate for any haggling that may occur.

I highly doubt that most spammers ever sell at their asking price, knock of 20-30% and you get a more realistic selling price in most cases.

Which is exactly why I'm not at the top, not even close. Despite what people like that would have you believe, it has nothing to do with how intelligent you are, or how much you know about the market. It has everything to do with not giving a crap about who you step on to make it to the top.

No, not all newbies would do the same, I was a newbie once, and I'm still not doing that. Just goes to show how small some people's worlds really are.

Lol morals and ethics are all well and good but they are traits that don't bode well in the business world.

I don't want to be rude, but if the server reaction time or whatever else is lagging the **** out of us was a bit faster, we could actually make bids and dont get errors/time-outs.

Oh by the way, there are some bid snipers on this site. I bid +100g, they offer +100g in 0.1 sec, riiiiiight..

Greetings, Jessica

LOL at applying buisness world ideals in a video game where the currency is generated constantly and infinite. The richest people in this game are the heads of Chinese sweat shops. How does that fit into your model of video game economics?

Lol, why would anyone listen to the FFA? (Foriegn Farming Association aka EBay Gold sellers) Of course they are going to spam high prices, it's all about the gold, but generally they are easy to drive down.
As for those posted mod prices, those are the exception, not the rule. A zealous is 5k, tops, you can buy them all day at that price. All elemental mods are 1-2k, and all you have to do is spam WTB Icy hilt a couple times, and you'll have 10 pm's to choose the lowest price from.

With the advent of Nightfall, and the rumored ability (See PcGamer) to salvage inherant damage mods, I would imagine common 15^50 weapons will start jumping in price.

i agree. plus upgrade trader will not only stabilize the prices but also reduce the time we have to spend hopping between diff towns/distr yelling WTB (personally thats the part i hate the most)

back to OP - i'm staying away from LA1, if i have to sell/buy smth there r droks amer1, and we have KC amer1 now.... so why bother arguing about prices with chinese farming bots? i'd rather support the local economy
